IMPORTANT INFORMATION

College Reserve Plan is intended for the long-term and therefore, it is not designed for early surrender. A surrender charge is applied to the plan value in the event of early termination.  Please refer to the Trust document, plan documents,  and Plan Illustration for details and explanation of the plan charges.

The Trust will invest in a policy on behalf of the Plan Participant, and will in turn; invest the net proceeds of the premiums received according to the investment directions indicated by the Plan Participant.  In the event of death within the first 5 years of the plan, beneficiaries will receive the greater of the redemption value of the policy or the sum of the contributions paid.  

Guarantees are applicable only to the regular contributions provided all contributions have been paid by their due date and there have been no loans or partial surrenders.

Any personal tax liability will depend on the participant’s country of residence and personal circumstances. Participants should consult a Financial Advisor if they require more detailed information on the tax position of the Plan in their respective country.
